I hear there is a squirrel on the loose? Is that real?

I was talking with Luiz Harpendoerfer about at hour ago in front of Selenizza Pizza and he was saying that he has heard multiple people talking about a squirrel siting. What are you all hearing? How did we get a squirrel, with all of the screening between here and earth?

  1. I have been hearing the same thing, but I have not seen it. Hans Derubertreiber told me that thing can fly. He thinks it is a bat. If it is a squirrel, it must be a new arrival from Earth. I can’t wait to see it. Those guys seem to defy gravity on earth, here i can’t imagine.

  2. That thing was flying! but it had a long bushy tail like a squirrel. I looked up what it eats and in addition to nuts, it likes fruit, mushrooms, seeds, and pine cones. I would guess it will eventually end up in one of the farms. It was going north on North Street, so probably it will be in the 11 O’clock Farm or the 1 O’clock before too long.

  3. The typical squirrel back at Earth can jump up to about 4 feet high and 9 feet horizontal. With our gravity here at about 16.5% the strength, it means the squirrel probably does look like she is flying. She should be able to jump about 8 meters (26.68 feet) high and could go horizontally about 18 meters (60 feet). Probably the poor thing is freaking out because her mind tells her that she can only jump so far, but then she ends up over shooting her intended destination, making her feel as though she is out of control. I’ve not seen her, but I hope I get the chance. I’m heading over to North Street as soon as I can. Boden, maybe we can meet up and look together.

  4. Boden and I were not able to spot the squirrel last night. We even walked through parts of both the 11 O’clock and the 1 O’clock farms. And Kalin: Utanç vermeye çalışmayın. Senin için utandım.

  5. So far, no one has told me about where they have seen the squirrel, other than on North Street. Makes me think it escaped from somewhere over there. Maybe it came from inside the Grand Star Bizarre?

    1. I have not seen it either so far. Some of the other farmers said they saw some rustling of plants yesterday, as though something was moving across them. This was at the 11 o’clock Farm.

Our Code of Being

  1. Remember that everyone was born into our solar system in the same manner. Everyone must be treated equally and fairly and with the same respect.
  2. Everyone is entitled to privacy within their own personal living spaces.
  3. One individual’s dangerous behavior is a risk to the lives of all. Everyone is required to pay attention to look for signs of that risk in themselves and others.
  4. No one has the right to inflict physical or mental harm to another.
  5. Acknowledge that we humans have emotions and they trigger conflicts.  We must stay aware of our own emotions and the feelings of those around us.
  6. Everyone must accept that some humans unknowingly do things that annoy other humans.  When confronted by someone who is annoying you, acknowledge it, mention it, and if it doesn’t stop, accept it as part of who that person is.  Then declare to yourself that that is all that it is, and carry on.
  7. Acknowledge that everyone has strengths and weaknesses and for the sake of progress, allow the collective strengths to combine to move forward.
  8. Extract positive lessons from any past negative experiences; do not let them repeat.  Coming to Seleneca is often cited as a way “to start over.” You must pack light to come here; do the same with your emotional baggage as well.
  9. Do not attack or challenge someone’s faith or belief system because it is the same as attacking them.  One’s faith is part of his, hers, or their personal recipe for success in life.
  10. Do not use your own faith or belief system as a justification to harm others.
  11. Any perception of harm is defined by the recipient, not by the accused aggressor.  Let the judge or mediator decide on punishment or steps to resolution.
  12. Each day, do not forget to pause, look around, and marvel at the joy and accomplishments of others around you and those that came before you.
